The Church, Ipapanti of the Lord, belongs to the parish of the Holy Church of the Dormition of the Virgin and is one of the most historic churches in Hydra. It was built in 1780 by Lazaros Kokkini and is located next to the mansion of L. Kountouriotis. In the precincts of the Church are the tombs of G. Kountouriotis and Sakhtouri.
The Temple is located at a distance of about 500 meters from the port of Hydra, next to the Historical House of Lazaros Kountouriotis.
Starting from the quayside of the flying dolphins, we move along the perimeter of the port, leaving after a few meters the National Bank on our left and then after the Holy Church of the Assumption, turn left onto Votsi street.
At the beginning of Votsi street, we go up a few steps on our right before the "Ostria" bistro and meet Antoniou Lignou street, which we cross.
We continue on the same stairs and immediately after we reach Voulgari - Kountouriotou street. Here we continue to the left, until we reach the Historical House of Lazaros Kountouriotis, next to which is the Holy Temple of Ipapanti.
